Had fun with this little piece—It’s part of 'By the Means at Hand', Vlatka Horvat’s project for the Croatian Pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale. Vlatka invited many artists living in diaspora to send works reflecting their experience abroad. I held a casting call in a local corner shop, listening to the stories of imported produce. Aren’t we all strangers, exchanging glances?

By rule, the work had to be delivered by travelers instead of couriers, literally ‘with all means at hand.’ (The A4 collage folded to A8 for easy transport…). It’s a quirky barter system, connecting strangers through the act of delivery. Looking forward to receiving Vlatka’s work in return, traveling with another mystery traveler.
